Campus & Facilities

Our campus is located on five expansive, landscaped acres and is situated on the western slopes of Kohelepelepe (Koko Crater) in Hawai‘i Kai.

In a quiet residential neighborhood, the entrance is graced by mature shade trees and a large porte cochere that greets visitors. The grounds have paved walking paths lined by plumeria, bougainvillea, hibiscus, crown flower, tī, white ginger, pīkake, anthuriums, ʻōhiʻa, croton, heliconia, ʻohai aliʻi and various ferns.

Our Campus

The main building, constructed in 1918 of steel and concrete and recently renovated, has wood floors, two fireplaces, and a grand staircase.
Its entire frontage is an enclosed veranda that overlooks the verdant grounds.
Entry into the residence is through the “Koa Room,” featuring koa rocking chairs and a fireplace adorned by a portrait of King Lunalilo.
This room leads to a bright, welcoming dining room lined by French doors that allow the rays of the sun to bring warmth to residents and their guests. An air-conditioned "Ohana Room” hosts activities to stimulate the mind and body
A large sun lānai lined by shower trees and gardens is at the back of the building, from which a clear view of Koko Head may be enjoyed.
The view of Koko Head may be enjoyed along with our beautiful Farm-to-Kūpuna garden beds which provide fruit, vegetables and herbs for nutritious and delicious local style meals that make up the menu for our kūpuna.
